Tata Motors has launched a limited-run special edition model of the Nexon upon completing 9 years in the compact SUV market and selling over 11 lakh units since launch. The new model is called Camo Edition, and it is now available from a starting price of Rs 9.99 lakh (ex-showroom).
Tata Nexon Camo Edition: Everything to know before buying it
The new Nexon Camo Edition is now available in five trims and three powertrains, which include: Creative, Creative+ S, Creative+ PS, Fearless+ PS, and Fearless+ A PS. The major change on the Camo Edition is in terms of the two new special exterior colours and ‘Camo’ badges on the fenders. The new paint options include Munnar Mist, which is a mix of silver-grey shade, and Coorg Cloud, which is a grey/green shade that changes under different lighting conditions.
Apart from these, the exterior of the Nexon Camo Edition is unaltered. Meanwhile, the biggest change is on the inside, where the compact SUV now features a bigger 10.25-inch digital instrument console and a 12.3-inch floating infotainment screen, which have been carried over from the Tata Curvv. Moreover, the special edition car gets a factory-fitted dashcam that captures and saves video during an impact, which can later be transferred to a device or viewed on the infotainment screen.
Depending on the variant, the Nexon Camo Edition comes equipped with features like a 360-degree camera, a 9-speaker JBL sound system, panoramic sunroof, ventilated front seats, wireless charger, Blind Spot monitoring, ADAS, and more.
Customers get three powertrain options for the Nexon Camo Edition as follows:
- 1.2-litre three-cylinder turbo petrol engine, 118 bhp/170 Nm, 6-speed manual, 6-speed AMT, or 7-speed wet clutch DCA automatic gearbox
- 1.2-litre three-cylinder turbo-CNG engine, 99 bhp/170 Nm, 6-speed manual gearbox
- 1.5-litre four-cylinder turbo diesel engine, 113 bhp/260 Nm, 6-speed manual or 6-speed AMT
