Tata Motors has revealed the official mileage of the Sierra SUV. The new mid-size SUV is offered with two petrol and one diesel engine option. Check out the ARAI mileage details below.

Tata Sierra ARAI mileage details
The new Sierra SUV has been in high demand since launch. However, Tata has not revealed its official mileage details at the launch, which are out now.
The Sierra is available in three engine options, and the ARAI mileage of these is as follows:
- 1.5-litre NA Petrol 6-MT – 17.40 km/l
- 1.5-litre NA Petrol 7-DCT – 16.90 km/l
- 1.5-litre TGDI turbo petrol 6-AT – 15.30 km/l
- 1.5-litre turbo diesel 6-MT – 21.26 km/l
- 1.5-litre turbo diesel 6-AT – 19.22 km/l
There have been a lot of speculations around the mileage of the Sierra, since the new owners have been reporting low figures, especially for the turbo petrol engine.
Mind you, the Sierra is the first Tata car to have a turbo-petrol engine option. While it is a smooth motor to drive, it is not as efficient as the rivals, primarily due to the weight of the SUV.
Tata Motors is planning to launch the electric version of the Sierra soon in India. The Sierra EV is likely to share its electric motor and battery specifications with the Harrier EV.
