Toyota Bharat has begun the official deliveries of the first batch of the Urban Cruiser Ebella. The Ebella, which is a rebadged version of the Maruti Suzuki e Vitara, was launched last month at Rs 23.60 lakh (ex-showroom). It is the first-ever all-electric car of the brand in India.
Speaking of the details, the Urban Cruiser Ebella features a redesigned front fascia as compared to the Maruti e Vitara. It features the sharp LED headlamps, a chrome strip on the nose, and a redesigned bumper that looks more streamlined. The side profile gets the new dual-tone alloys, while the rear design packs the new lettering on the boot.
On the inside, it is largely similar to the e Vitara, save for the Toyota badging. It comes equipped with features like the dual-connected display, wireless charging, ventilated seats with electric adjustment, Level 2 ADAS, and a 360-degree camera.
The Urban Cruiser Ebella is powered by a 61 kWh lithium-ion battery pack. It comes with a front-wheel drive configuration only, and the maximum power and torque output stand at 171 bhp and 193 Nm. The ARA-claimed range of the Toyota Urban Cruiser Ebella is 543 km.
