Royal Enfield has added a new white colour option for its first electric bike, the Flying Flea C6. The cult motorcycle brand has added a new ‘Parachute White’ paint option at Rs 2.79 lakh (ex-showroom, Bengaluru). This new paint option joins the existing Flea Green and Storm Black paint options, which are also available at the same price tag.
Speaking of the details, the new Parachute White colour features a beautiful mix of pearl white on the fuel tank and chassis, which is elevated by the black-coloured front and rear mudguards and black-coloured battery casing and components.
Adding to this mix are the contrasting blue-coloured seat and handle grips, which add the magical touch of a retro theme. Meanwhile, the alloy wheels continue to feature the matte-black finish, which goes well with the bike’s mixed theme of futuristic yet retro.
Apart from these visual changes, the Flying Flea C6 remains unchanged. It is powered by a 3.91 kWh battery pack that powers a 15.4 kW electric motor. This setup offers quick performance, as the bike can reach to a top speed of 115 km/h. Meanwhile, the IDC range of the bike stands at 154 km on a full charge.
The Flying Flea C6 is the brand’s first EV. It is likely to be followed by the Flying Flea S6, which is essentially a scrambler version of the C6 that adds long-travel suspension, knobby tyres, spoked rims, and a scrambler-styled upright riding posture. Meanwhile, the brand has been showcasing a fully electric Himalayan, which is also set to be launched in the coming years in India.
