Unknown TVS off-road bike leaked: What it could mean?
The leaked image of a new off-road motorcycle comes from the owner’s manual of the RTX adventure bike. This unknown model is surely not the RTX, and it raises some interesting questions.
First, the silhouette of this model is completely different from the RTX 300. The front has a long beak, a single headlamp that looks vertically positioned, a small windscreen, and a long-travel telescopic front suspension with fork gaiter kit. Moreover, it seems to have a 21-inch spoke wheel at the front.
The whole side profile revealed in the leaked image is different from the RTX. It has a raised handlebar, a smaller fuel tank, a single seat, an upswept exhaust can, and a shorter wheelbase. All these elements are more familiar to a hardcore, lightweight off-road bike like the Hero Xpulse.
Moreover, the engine looks to be a smaller capacity unit than the RTX. It also has fins that indicate an oil-cooled motor. Meanwhile, the rear suspension is a monoshock unit, while the rear wheel looks like an 18-inch.
TVS has not uttered a word about its future plans of bringing a small-capacity off-road bike. Although we know that the brand is working on its 450cc models, which will share their platform with the upcoming BMW 450cc models, a low-capacity off-roader is out of the frame for now.
So, it is possible that the bike seen in the owner’s manual of the RTX is a representation model only. However, if it is a leaked silhouette, we are definitely eager to see it coming to life.
