Ducati has released the first teaser photos of the upcoming DesertX adventure bike. It is scheduled to launch next year globally. Check its complete details below.

What to expect from the 2026 Ducati DesertX?
The next-gen DesertX will undergo a hefty revision in terms of design, engine, and hardware. The teaser photos, although camouflaged, show that the design will be different from the current model. It will be slimmer and taller, giving it an overall lightweight feel.
However, the big change is going to be the Multistrada V2-sourced 890cc, V2 engine that makes 110 bhp. It will be mated to a 6-speed gearbox with bi-directional quickshifter and a six-axis IMU with features like engine brake control, cornering ABS, wheelie control, rear wheel lift-off control, and more.
The new DesertX is claimed to be lighter than the outgoing model, as it will tip at 206 kg without fuel. Moreover, it will feature rigorous suspension updates and swingarm changes to offer a better on and off-road experience.
As of now, not much is known about the new-gen DesertX. But it will certainly be available in Europe by May 2026, followed by Japan and the Australian market by August 2026. A complete reveal is set to take place in February 2026.
The new DesertX is expected to launch in India by the end of 2026.
