Aprilia has revealed the updated 2027 SR GT 125 and SR GT 200 at EICMA 2026. The Italian manufacturer’s urban adventure scooters receive a more comprehensive equipment package, with improvements aimed primarily at everyday usability and convenience.

The updates are not limited to cosmetic changes. The new TFT instrument cluster, increased underseat storage and redesigned handlebar controls make the scooters more practical, while their existing adventure-inspired design and mechanical package remain largely unchanged.

New TFT display

The biggest upgrade is the new 5-inch colour TFT instrument cluster, which replaces the earlier LCD unit. It displays more information and can be paired with a smartphone through the optional Aprilia MIA connectivity module. This enables pictogram-based navigation on the screen.

A USB-C charging port is now standard, while the underseat storage compartment has been redesigned and can accommodate a full-face helmet. Aprilia has also introduced new, more user-friendly handlebar switchgear.

The alloy wheels have been redesigned, taking inspiration from the larger SR GT 400. The scooters retain their long-travel suspension, increased ground clearance and all-terrain-style tyres, which are central to their urban adventure positioning.

Engine specifications remain unchanged

The SR GT 125 continues with its 125 cc i-get engine, producing 11 kW (14.75 hp) at 9,000 rpm and 12 Nm at 6,750 rpm. Aprilia has revised the final-drive calibration, allowing the updated 125 to achieve a higher top speed.

The SR GT 200 retains its 174 cc i-get engine, delivering 13 kW (17.7 hp) at 8,650 pm and 16.5Nm at 7,000 rpm. Both engines feature a Start & Stop system.

New colours for the 2027 range

The standard SR GT 125 and 200 will be available in Opalescent Light, Aprilia Black and the new Boulder Grey. The Sport versions get Red Raceway, Boulder Grey and a new Tornado Green option.

The standard variants feature silver-grey footboards and side panels, while the Sport versions get black footboards and contrasting graphics inspired by Aprilia’s sport motorcycles.
