Mercedes-Benz G-Class Electric recall details
The latest recall issued by Mercedes-Benz in India is for the electric G-Class. The G-Class EQ was launched in India last year, and 99 units sold ever since are reported to potentially have an issue with their wheel bolts.
While the brand did not specify what exactly is wrong with these bolts, it did state that the bolts could develop cracks, which can eventually lead to failure, further leading to a crash. To avoid it, the brand is working on a free replacement.
All of these 99 units are reported to have been manufactured from July 12, 2024, to August 18, 2025. The current owners are being notified, and Mercedes will ensure that the rectification process goes smoothly for all owners.
