Bentley EV production starts – Everything we know so far
The first-ever electric car from Bentley is going to be an urban SUV, which is set to revolutionise the segment with its industry-first tech and features. The brand has announced that it has commenced the pre-production of the first batch of vehicles.
The new unnamed EV is expected to be officially revealed next year. However, Bentley did reveal that it will get the fastest charging time on an EV, which will charge the car from 0-100 miles in just 7 minutes.
As per the company, its first EV will not only stir the segment rivals like Rolls-Royce, but it will also offer the best of sustainable and renewable engineering, along with the brisk performance for which the brand is known.
Meanwhile, Bentley has also extended its target of complete electrification by 2035. The brand has officially cited that the great response to the PHEVs has led to this decision.
The new Bentley electric car will be launched by the end of 2026 globally, while its deliveries are scheduled for 2027. Indian customers shall get the new EV by 2027-end.
