Mahindra Scorpio N facelift interior: What is new?
The newly leaked video that shows the interior design of the Scorpio N facelift seems to be the top-spec Z8 variant. A close look shows that the new Scorpio N facelift will get a mild yet thoughtful update in terms of the interior design and features.
The dashboard now features a bigger infotainment screen with a floating design. It looks similar to the one on the Thar Roxx, and it is expected to offer wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, OTA updates, voice-assisted controls, and more.
Another change to notice is the new centre console design with repositioned AC vents, new silver highlights, and toggle switches for traction, 4WD, seat ventilation, hazard lights, and other controls. The leaked model is a manual version, and the gear knob on it is unaltered as compared to the current model.
Meanwhile, the steering wheel has not been changed, but the driver console is now completely digital. This new digital console is inspired by the Thar Roxx, and it displays every detail related to the vehicle on the go, including navigation support, etc.
Although the video does not reveal the specification details, we expect the new Scorpio N facelift to come equipped with a Sony music system, ADAS safety with new passive safety features, improved seat cushioning, and more. Mahindra will also alter its exterior design with a new front fascia, new LED headlights, new LED foglights, and a new front bumper. Similarly, the rear profile is expected to feature a set of revised LED taillights.
This upcoming facelift will be the first update for the current Scorpio N. Hence, it will remain mechanically unaltered. There will be two engine options: 2.0-litre turbo petrol and 2.2-litre m-Hawk turbo diesel. Both engines will get a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed AT gearbox.
The new Scorpio N facelift is expected to be launched before the Diwali festive season this year. With the update, its prices are likely to witness a slight hike.
