Hero MotoCorp’s electric mobility brand Vida has showcased three new electric motorcycle concepts at EICMA 2026, offering a glimpse into its future product plans. The concepts cover three distinct categories: an urban roadster, an off-road motorcycle and a streetfighter-style electric motorcycle developed with Zero Motorcycles.
While none of the three has been confirmed for production, the showcase signals Vida’s intention to move beyond electric scooters and explore a wider range of electric two-wheelers.
Vida UBX: An electric urban explorer
The UBX is described as a neo-naked urban explorer and features an aggressive streetfighter-inspired design. It gets a wide handlebar with handguards, a prominent TFT display and distinctive bodywork. The swingarm-mounted rear tyre hugger and number plate holder give its rear section a particularly unusual appearance.
The overall design also has a supermoto-like stance, with an upright riding position and exposed mechanical elements. Vida has not revealed its motor output, battery capacity or claimed range.
DIRT.E MX7: Electric motocross for adults
The DIRT.E MX7 is the most purpose-built off-road machine among the three concepts. It gets motocross-style proportions, long-travel suspension, a flat seat, spoked wheels and knobby tyres.
Unlike the existing DIRT.E K3, which is designed for younger riders, the MX7 is aimed at adults. Its performance figures, battery specifications and intended riding range have not been announced.
Project VXZ: Developed with Zero Motorcycles
The third concept, Project VXZ, is being developed in collaboration with US-based Zero Motorcycles. It features angular streetfighter styling, a large TFT display, distinctive switchgear and a sporty riding position.
The concept also gives Vida an opportunity to explore electric motorcycle technology with an established player in the segment. However, neither company has shared details about its motor, battery, performance or charging capabilities.
No production timelines announced yet
Vida has not confirmed whether these concepts will enter production or when they could reach showrooms. For now, they remain a preview of the brand’s potential expansion into electric motorcycles.
