The dates for India Bike Week 2026 have been announced. The country’s biggest motorcycle festival will return to Panchgani, Maharashtra, on December 4 and 5, following its move from Goa to the hill station last year.
What’s new?
The 13th edition will continue with a strong focus on riding and motorsport. Visitors can expect competitive events such as hill climb, flat-track racing and mud rush, along with stunt shows and overlanding activities. Custom motorcycle builds will also form a major part of the festival.
Motorcycle manufacturers and aftermarket brands are expected to use the event to showcase their latest products. Visitors will also get opportunities to check out new motorcycles and take part in test rides, making IBW an important gathering for both enthusiasts and manufacturers.
This year’s event will be bigger than the previous edition. The organisers have moved to a venue that is around 50 percent larger, offering more space for parking, visitors and activities. The expanded format will also extend beyond the festival grounds through an IBW Town Takeover, bringing activities into Panchgani and the surrounding areas.
The official IBW website lists the festival at an altitude of around 4,550 feet, with three stages, motorcycle races, custom builds, brand launches, test rides and camping among the planned attractions. Gates are scheduled to open at 9am, with stages running late into the night.
With Panchgani’s winding hill roads forming part of the wider experience, the location also gives riders a very different setting from the festival’s earlier Goa editions.
Final thoughts
IBW’s move to Panchgani appears to be becoming more than a temporary change of venue. The larger site and town-wide format could make the 2026 edition considerably more immersive. For motorcycle enthusiasts, December 4 and 5 are dates worth marking on the calendar.
