The latest sighting of a new-generation Pulsar N125 test mule comes from the outskirts of Pune, Maharashtra. A densely camouflaged test mule of Bajaj’s entry-level Pulsar was seen testing on the road, and the close spy shots reveal that it will get its biggest update soon.
Although the complete details will be revealed in the coming months, we can spot some substantial updates visually. The front, for example, now packs a new muscular design with a new headlamp and a wider cowl.
Even the handlebar seem to be flatter, which adds to more riding comfort for the rider. Meanwhile, the test bike has the telescopic front suspension and 17-inch alloy wheels, along with a front disc brake, and likely a single-channel ABS as well.
Moving to the side profile, the fuel tank is now substantially larger and wider. We believe that it will get a new design and the tank shrouds will also be redesigned to make it look more identical to the bigger Pulsars.
The split seat design has been reworked, and so are the new side panels, new tail section, new split pillion grab rails, and a new side-hung exhaust with a heat plate. Mechanically, the bike is suspected to continue using the current 125cc setup, but we believe that this engine will be Ethanol-proofed for future use.
While the spy shots could not capture the instrument console, we can safely say that it will also undergo a big update, offering a new digital display and features like Bluetooth connectivity.
One more interesting update is the addition of a chain cover casing, which is generally seen on commuter bikes. This casing saves the chain from dust, rain, rust, muck, mud, and other environmental impacts, hence increasing its life.
Bajaj is likely to introduce this updated Pulsar N125 by early 2027. The road testing phase means that the bike is in the advanced stage of development, and the final testing could be completed in the coming months.
