Ather has teased a new family electric scooter that is all set to be unveiled on the upcoming Ather Community Day 2026 scheduled for August 29, 2026. This new e-scooter is based on the brand’s latest EL01 platform that has been designed to boast a range of body styles and battery packs.
What to expect from the Ather EL01-based e-scooter?
The latest teaser image of this unnamed electric scooter comes straight from Ather’s production line. The teased side profile of a production model that is under production was shared recently by the brand on its social media handles. This new e-scooter will debut the EL01 platform, which was showcased to the world at last year’s Ather Community Day.
The new EL01 platform will house an array of body styles and battery packs ranging from 2 kWh to 5 kWh. As one can tell from this new teaser image, this scooter will be a family-oriented model that will offer a clean and minimal design with fuss-free panels, a body-integrated pillion grab rail, black alloy wheels, a big footboard for a spacious legroom, and features like the TFT coloured console that is likely to offer Bluetooth connectivity, navigation support, ride modes, reverse gear, parking assist, and more.
While Ather has kept quite regarding the details of this new e-scooter, we can sense from the teaser that it will ride on a 14-inch front and a 12-inch rear alloy wheel setup. Meanwhile, it will get a relaxed riding posture, and its real-world range could be somewhere around 100-120 km. The whole idea of this new e-scooter is to offer a more value-for-money proposition with a slightly reduced performance, as compared to the 450 series.
