BMW F 450 GS: Everything we know so far
As per online reports, select BMW dealerships have started accepting unofficial bookings for the F 450 GS, with an amount ranging from Rs 10,000-50,000. While the launch timeline of the new GS is unknown for India, the dealerships accepting bookings hint at a near launch.
BMW revealed its new F 450 GS at the EICMA 2025 earlier this month. It broke the internet as worldwide fans were waiting for this new middle-weight parallel-twin adventure bike.
The F 450 GS carries a familiar design language to the bigger 1300 GS bike. It gets the quad LED headlight, an upright and comfortable riding position, a tall front design, and an all-new frame.
Powering the F 450 GS is an all-new 420cc parallel-twin engine that makes 48 bhp and 45 Nm of power and torque. It is paired to a 6-speed transmission with a slipper clutch. Moreover, it is a light motorcycle at 178 kg.
In terms of features, the baby GS gets all the bells and whistles, including the adjustable windscreen, Ohlins suspension, cross-spoke tubeless rims, a 6.7-inch TFT console with Bluetooth connectivity, ride modes, heated grips, dual-channel ABS, traction control, cruise control, etc.
We are assuming that BMW might display the F 450 GS at the upcoming India Bike Week festival in Goa. However, its pricing is expected to be revealed in January 2026. Considering that it is a loaded bike with a long list of optional accessories, it will be priced above Rs 5 lakh for sure.
