One of the leading entry-level premium helmet manufacturers in India, AXOR, has revealed the first-ever made-in-India optical coating visor, called AXOR REVO. This new visor has been developed from scratch in India, and it will be produced locally with a plan to produce up to 2.40 million visors.

The newly introduced REVO visor from AXOR has been developed by its parent company, Vega Auto. This is the first made-in-India visor that uses optical anti-glare technology to offer a comfortable, stress-free, and visually clear riding view during harsh sunlight or bright conditions. The optically coated visor will be manufactured in India by Vega Auto.
This new visor technology uses a multilayer coating along with the coloured coating, which reduces the brightness glare substantially and cuts eye strain as well. Moreover, this visor provides a clear, edge-to-edge view to the rider, without any optical distortion, which is usually an issue with low-quality visors. It also gets hard-coated exterior guard scratch coating to prevent hard scratches.
Since the REVO visor is offered in various colours, including Gold, Red, Green, Blue, and Purple, it is not designed for night riding conditions as it restricts light from entering the cabin. Therefore, if you plan to buy this visor, make sure to purchase a clear visor as well if you ride during nighttime.
As far as its pricing is concerned, AXOR has not revealed the exact model-wise details. However, the official website shows that models like the AXOR Apex and AXOR Brutale get the new REVO visor for Rs 1,320. If so, this pricing is not only affordable, but it will help in revolutionising helmet technology in India. AXOR claims to have spent over Rs 2 crore in the development of the REVO visor, and the brand aims to produce around 2.40 million units in the future.
