How does the Voice on Ather voice command work?

The new voice command feature rollout has begun for all the new scooter owners and the Gen 3 models. The latter includes the 450 X, 450 Apex, and Rizta Z scooters. This feature has been craftily designed for the Indian customers, Indian tonality, and to understand the generic voice commands easily.

Ather says that its voice command software uses the latest and complex LLM or Large Language Model, which is the next-gen AI. The LLM can easily recognise the Indian accent and the intent of the voice command even in a conversational speech, something that we use on our smartphones regularly.

By using the voice commands, users can control multiple features. One can switch between traction modes, know their ETA, locate the nearest charging station, adjust the screen brightness, and even control calls or messages via voice commands. Not only that, but this new feature works well with the Ather Halo smart helmet. Additionally, the third-party intercoms like Sena and Cardo also support the voice command feature.

Ather has released the OTA update for the Gen 3 model owners nationwide. However, the affordable models like the 450 S and Rizta S miss out on this feature.
